Stanley Fat Max 250mm Straight Cut Aviation Snips

The Stanley FatMax Xtreme Snip - Straight Cut is constructed from forged alloy steel and features titanium-nitrate coated blades, meaning these snips require less cutting force and are up to 20 times stronger than competitive models. The internal locking latch is comfortable to reach from the handle position with an easy and fast auto-release and one-handed opening and closing. Both handles are bi-material ensuring extra comfort, firm grip and control when using the snips. The compound cutting action reduces the force needed to cut and decreases hand fatigue. The snips lower blade features a serrated cutting edge to prevent the snips slipping away from the material you are cutting. The 250mm (10in) long snips will cut up to 18 gauge mild steel 0.7mm to 1.2mm thick. The snip is also suitable for cutting a range of different materials including aluminium, sheet uPVC, wire mesh, leather, copper and plastic.
